Thank you for taking the time to read our rules
General
- Here at Inderland respect is not earned, it is given freely. Staff and new members alike get the same treatment, and we encourage you to be honest if you feel you are not getting the respect you deserve.
- That being said, the rules are there for a reason. The staff are not disrespecting you if they enforce a rule you broke, intentionally or not. If you have proof that you are indeed not breaking a rule, another staff member may be called in to settle the dispute, but you may not disregard a staff member's decision.
- Any and all discriminating words/actions will earn you a five day posting ban and a second offense will earn you a ban from Inderland. We take our social issues very seriously here, and anyone caught making a racist/sexist/homophobic or otherwise discriminating comment will be punished. If you feel someone is doing this, please discreetly PM one of the staff and it will be handled immediately.
- This is a one account board, please do not make multiple accounts for your characters. We also encourage you to make a character log so people know where to look for information about your character.
- As a part of a supernatural forum, some power-playing may occur. Vampires might bespell your character, or a witch might catch them in a bubble and take their movement out of your hands. If you feel the power playing has gone beyond the limits of what's considered reasonable, you can ask a staff member to judge and possibly intervene. If you are asked to change your answer, please be reasonable, it is not done out of spite. Currently, only undead vampires and witches have any power playing abilities, as undead can bespell a character and witches have autonomy influencing spells. Still, it is polite and we encourage you to clear any and all power-playing with your partner before it happens. This can help settle disputes before they start!
- All pictures must be sourced if they are not your own, and you must ask a fellow member for permission before you use a picture they made. The first time it is brought to our attention you will be warned, and the second offense will leave you banned.
Posting
- Liquid time is allowed here, to make it easier to keep up with the fast paced politics. Your character may be in multiple threads at once.
- Minimum of 150 words please, you need to give your partners something to work with!
- Both open and reserved threads are allowed, but please do not claim an open thread for yourself before posting. If you cannot post at that moment, let people who can have a chance.
- Please try to use correct spelling. Spelling mistakes are fine, but if your post is a mess of chatspeak your partner suffers. That being said, people who speak english as a second language are welcome here, and any translation problems or less than fluent writing is perfectly fine.
- Please keep any and all sexual threads to a minimum, a fade to black will suffice. Gore, murder and r*pe is another matter, as it often occurs when Inderlanders mingle with other species. Please try to tag any gore or distasteful threads accordingly in the thread title, for the ease and safety of your fellow members. Discuss any and all triggering acts your character may undertake with your partner's character before it happens. R*pe will be a fade to black only, the same as any consenting sexual content.
- Please keep your font above 12 pixels, as any smaller becomes very hard to see for anyone with eyesight or reading comprehension problems.
Characters
- Please stick to the templated supernatural characters. Any supernatural characters that fall outside guidelines will not be accepted, and their applications will be denied.
- You may have multiple characters, but please do your best to keep them active and try not to take more than you can handle.
- If your character application is denied, do not post as that character.
- Please do not give staff members grief over your character template. Raising concerns is part of their job and they are in full rights to deny a character template. You may edit a template to fix any problems and resubmit it if it was denied.
