Leprechauns
Origin: Non-Human in origin.
Lifespan: On average 350-400 years.
Subspecies: None
Ley Line Access: Able to tap a line; unable to see auras
Strengths: Close to omnipotent, leprechauns can bend many aspects of reality by wish granting, although paperwork is notedly difficult for younger or unpracticed leprechauns. Good at creating illusions with their wishes, they tap a ley line to fulfil a wish although how exactly this is done is a well guarded secret known only by a few. Most leprechauns know how to do it, but not the exact mechanics of it.
Weaknesses: They are small, and not naturally proficient at physical skills like vampires or Weres.
Attributes: Impish and manipulative, most leprechuans happily use their skills to barter for things, knowing such a valuable skill can be withheld for higher prices. Some do not take kindly to someone attempting to cheat them, and often seek revenge for such an act, despite the fact an attempt to cheat a leprechaun out of their promised payment will inevitably fail.
Allies: None, leprechauns are a species much like witches or banshees that only look to themselves for guidance.
Enemies: None
Full write up: Sourced in parts from various places, including the Wiki entry.
Leprechuans are short-statured Inderlanders with an Irish history who can grant apparently omnipotent "wishes". An adult leprechuan is about the size of a two-year-old human child. Wishes not immediately settled on are symbolized by little coins tied with ribbon that can be traded to others in turn. Ungranted wishes are a hugely valuable, as there's no needed bartering with the leprechaun that grants it. Leprechuans often offer wishes as bribes to get their way, but can give them out at will, after which they can be traded to other people like a commodity. Once a person decides what they wish for, the wish is automatically invoked, even if the leprechaun is not around. Any money promised to a Leprechuan can not be cheated away from them afterward.
Wish granting is highly regulated due to the reality bending nature of it, paperwork and other legally binding contracts are out of bounds for a leprechaun to alter. Despite this, some leprechauns can get away with it if there isn't a whole legal team keeping an eye on the terms of the contract.
